Kuldip Chahal is a Certified Lifestyle Mentor / Nutritionist and Certified Personal Trainer from the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) with a private practice in Mumbai, India. He completed his MBA from Sikkim Manipal University. With over ten years of working experience as a Personal Trainer, he has mentored individuals and helped them live a healthy lifestyle.

Having pursued a career in the corporate sector for over 30 years, Kuldip took a detour in his career path to fulfill his aspirations as a Lifestyle Mentor and Nutritionist. Today, he uses his skills in nutrition and strength therapy to run his own practice where he helps people balance out a relationship between food and their bodies so that they can show up for what matters most in their life.

Kuldip believes in health at every stage, with a focus on intuitive eating, movement and weight inclusive wellness.

My Philosophy

All my life I was so determined to find the right solution regarding health that i never noticed the invisble strings of trends and fads around me regarding the perfect weight and body type.

While in school I used my body like a lab rat, experimenting with different diets and workout routines. As my body began to change I was praised by family, friends, and perfect strangers, for changing my body but I knew that the diets I was self-prescribing weren’t sustainable. I wanted something more concrete, some real answers backed by science. So, I decided to become an expert.

Time and time again I found that my approach was helping my clients lose weight in a short term, but with little to no long-term success. I became frustrated. Was it me? Or was I just not attracting clients who were willing to do the work? I knew something about my practice had to change.

As I continued down this road with these questions at the forefront on my mind, I realized that a staggering number of women and men were participating in my private and group coaching programs because they hated their bodies. Their disdain for their bodies was what was motivating them to want to lose weight in the first place, and even though I wasn’t selling a specific diet, while my focus on weight loss was still perpetuating that cycle.

I knew my work went so much deeper than just working to lower the number on the scale, but I still struggled with the question, how do we apply our knowledge of nutrition in the real world and care for our whole selves without becoming crazy obsessed with our diet and weight.

It has been a sheer pleasure and delight to be in this voyage of self discovery with Kuldip Sir. Strength training or weight training has its own set of myths hovering around it. Going to a gym, doing dumbles, injuring yourself, loose weight only to get it back with bonuses, and therefore.... it is not for me.....was the feeling that I had about it. I’ve been training with Kuldip for 2 months now, and I believe he is one of the most experienced & committed trainers around. I train with him 6 days a week on a one-on-one session.

I'm a first time gymmer so I was very sceptical as to how I will perform. But I got very lucky when I met Kuldip uncle and he became my trainer.

Kuldip is very encouraging and believes in my strength more than me. He knows I'm a first timer so he takes the time to explain which muscle is being worked upon, the correct posture, relevance of correct breathing, water intake etc. It’s all new to me but he is fun to workout with, in his own strict way and that shows his dedication towards this profession.
